As a Professor of Systems Management at the U.S. National Defense University (NDU) Information Resources Management (IRM) College, Dr. Boddie provides graduate-level education in organizational leadership and management, enterprise architecture, and program and project management. Dr. Boddie has over 30 years experience leading and managing information technology (IT) environments for public, private, and non-profit-sector organizations. A key highlight of Dr. Boddie’s professional career include leading the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Information Technology Services Directorate implementation of the The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 legislation. During this major presidential initiative, the IRS and its partners mailed checks totaling over $36B to approximately 90 million taxpayers. Dr. Boddie also led program and project management support to numerous organizations including the U.S. White House, Treasury Department, Commerce Department, and the Social Security Administration. Dr. Boddie developed several frameworks and models that enable organizational leaders to improve enterprise performance including the Vision, Integrity, Communication, Inspiration, and Empowerment Transformational Leadership Model and the Transformational Leadership and Enterprise Management Integration Framework. Dr. Boddie is the Program Leader for the Information Resources Management Community Center, a virtual community of practice and is also leading the NDU IRM College’s research and incorporation of social network applications into the College learning environment. Dr. Boddie has published numerous articles and authored chapters in organizational leadership, enterprise architecture, and program and project management. Dr. Boddie is the NDU IRM College Professor of the Year for 2006 – 2007.
